Here is another interesting hybrid, the Western-Japanese MAP OF THE SOUNDS OF TOKYO : the eclectic film tells the story of loner Ryu, who works as a hitman and one day starts to befriend one of his victims, wine store owner David. They begin to develop a relationship, knowing that no happy end awaits.
The movie is directed by Isabel Coixet and produced by Jaume Roures, after its premiere in Cannes in May it so far officially opened in Spain and Japan. MAPS OF THE SOUNDS IN TOKYO stars Rinko Kikuchi, Sergi Lopez, Min Tanaka, Manabu Oshio, Takeo Nakahara and Hideo Sakaki.
