JIM HODGES - GLADSTONE GALLERY - NEW YORK - 2011
Artist JIM HODGES refined conceptual works are on currently view in both Chelsea venues of the Gladstone Gallery. In his large scale sculptures and wall mounted works, Hodges challenges expectations of space and movement by placing common materials into a new fragmented context. The manipulation of materials for a visual and narrative end is especially evident in his room installation which squirts paint from the ceiling onto a platform in an abstract never-ending performance. On view through 23rd December 2011 at the Gladstone Gallery, 515 West 24th street and 530 West 21 street, New York.
