Filmmaker Sofia Coppola looked every inch the stunning bride as she left her Italian wedding ceremony with her rock star husband today.
Wearing a lilac dress gathered at the waist the Oscar-winning director wed Thomas Mars, lead singer of the French rock band Phoenix and the father of their two young daughters.
Instead of Hollywood glamour the pair opted for a small romantic ceremony held in the town where her great-grandfather was born.
The ceremony took place in the garden of a historic palazzo her famous father, Francis Ford Coppola, has renovated in the center of the Italian town of Bernalda.

Los Amantes del Circulo Polar is a film about love of Otto and Ana. The two fall in love with each other when meeting at the age of 8 by chance, and separate after the death of Otto’s mother. But eventually they meet again in their 20s in Lapland within the Arctic Circle, under the midnight sun. There are things that never end, and Love is one of them.
